Many damage equipment claims begin with a power failure. Sometimes our electrical engineers are asked to investigate the power failure itself, but more frequently it is the consequences of the failure that we are asked to look at.

This might be a cement plant, glass factory or a chemical plant. In particular any process that heats materials and equipment to an elevated temperature can, under the right circumstances, suffer damage as a result of a power failure.
