PMI-XRF

Our Background

We are registered with the Malaysia Atomic Energy Licensing Board (license no: LPTA/A/1861) to provide X-ray fluorescence (XRF) elemental analysis on a wide range of solid samples, for example, pipes, welds, granules, films, pellets and many more that is suitable for a wide variety of industrial applications, such as PMI.

Our handheld XRF machine also allows on site assessment, this is especially useful when the test samples are inconvenient to be submitted to the laboratory and the result can be generated immediately. Likewise, we have a laboratory complete with failure analysis facilities to examine your samples, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

All of the PMI tests are conducted by our certified chemist (A/4036/5866/10/14) and radiation protection officer (3I/8860) or trained radiation worker.

Types of Tests

Our portable XRF analyzer is a comprehensive tool that offers elemental analysis in a wide range of applications, include:

  1. Metal / Alloy analysis and Identification includes Positive Material Identification (PMI)
  2. Scrap metal sorting / scrap recycling such as metals, plastics, electronic components
  3. Toxic metals screening, such as cadmium (Cd), lead (Pd) , mercury (Hg) and chromium (Cr), on consumer products and more.

XRF Advantages
