Eddy Current Testing

This is frequently the preferred method of crack detection over the aging magnetic particle (MT) and dye penetrant (PT) process, due to its ability to size the defect in length and depth, and to be used without removing any protective coating. ET has the added benefit of real time recording of the digital signals for reassessment, permanent recording and electronic report. This same system is also utilized for non-ferrous tube inspection, thickness measurements of ultra-thin non-ferrous materials and high precision coating thickness measurements.
